Law is a dynamic field, and each case brings new insights. Therefore, the individual teams meet regularly to share news from the field of law, discuss interesting transactions, as well as their current caseload.

Dentons European network holds an annual Dentons Football and Volleyball Cup, a competition between individual European offices. Each team prepares for this event throughout the year, with team members regularly meeting for practice sessions after work. The highlight of the season is the tournament final, which always takes place in a different country. This is a great opportunity to get to know colleagues from other offices, realize one’s own potential and, of course, to win a medal! The Prague office can boast having the second best football team and third best volleyball team from the 2019 Dentons Football and Volleyball Cup.

Every Dentons lawyer spends at least 40 hours a year on pro bono work, and is entirely free to choose which project to dedicate this time to. Education, social services, human rights… each lawyer can focus on a cause, which is of particular interest. For instance, the Prague office cooperates with the Educhange Foundation co-founded by the Avast Foundation, the Česká spořitelna Foundation, the Karel Janeček Foundation and the Open Society Fund Prague aiming to improve the Czech education system.
